First Round of Testing
In our first round of testing we wanted to test the durability and pH of the water bubbles. We first tested the effect of changing the proportions of chemicals in the recipe to see how it affected durability. However we soon learned it had no effect and all of the water bubbles burst when dropped from a height of 13 cm and did not burst when dropped from a height below 13 cm. Next we tested to see if the water bubble shell had any effect on the pH of the liquid it encapsulated. During our experiment we ran many trials with both water and propel and took the pH of the liquid before it was in the bubble and then took the pH of the liquid after it had been inside the shell. Our results showed that the shell had no affect on the pH of the liquid and it remains at a healthy pH to drink.
